In this image the costume that the main character superman is wearing in that scene his famous suit. The colours of the suit is mainly red and blue and because the movie is set in america it shows how patriotic he is to the country and he is always supporting america. Reinforces the stereotype that american men love their country and made to look strong as others are helpless and look up to him for help. The people around look Mexican as they are celebrating the festival day of the dead. Which goes together with the first point i made that the patriotic american hero is the savour to everyone including other countries which shows that america is trying to be the dominate country.

Moreover, the lighting is darker around superman but on the hero the light shines down on him as you see it reflect of his forehead.This was purposefully done to show that he is the chosen one and the saviour to all. Furthermore, the image lighting is not as lit at the background but as it focuses more the light shows and brings out more of the people in the scene. This was done to highlight and glorify the main character of the scene.
