Click: This is a movie about a man who can stop time with a snap of his fingers. I think the plot of the film is great and have a great story behind it. Furthermore the editing of the film is great. The transitions was all cuts which was good as it suited the the plot of the story. Finally the acting was good. This is because when the scenes were frozen the actor must have to been completely still. Overrule i think the click movie trailer was the best one. Into the void: This was about someone just got a gun and wanted to kill a people he hated. The plot is simple but still a very good one. The editing was the best part of the film. It had many jump cuts to keep the story rolling. Furthermore the different colors for the different scene and the slow motion scenes. Last of all the the acting throughout the film was good. In this image the costume that the main character superman is wearing in that scene his famous suit. The colours of the suit is mainly red and blue and because the movie is set in america it shows how patriotic he is to the country and he is always supporting america. Reinforces the stereotype that american men love their country and made to look strong as others are helpless and look up to him for help. The people around look Mexican as they are celebrating the festival day of the dead. Which goes together with the first point i made that the patriotic american hero is the savour to everyone including other countries which shows that america is trying to be the dominate country. Moreover, the lighting is darker around superman but on the hero the light shines down on him as you see it reflect of his forehead.This was purposefully done to show that he is the chosen one and the saviour to all. Low key lighting. Top lighting is used as they are trying t highlight the emotions of the character which in this case is scared. This helps creates mystery as you wonder why she is worried. Lastly, because of the lighting we can guess that it is noir type of film because of the colors.                                                             The lighting in this shot is high key lighting as his body from the angle we are given is quite well lit up however we are left to ponder as to why he looks quite shocked and stunned due to his facial expression. As when the most use of a key light is to create a sense of realism, however, the actor does not give any information as to why he looks like that. The first piece of feedback: WWW: The lighting was very good, the editing at 2.44 was good, it was different to what others had done. EBI: I think the percentage of how quick it was could’ve been a little bit higher, it was a bit slow. Also, there wasn’t a major transformation – I didn’t really get what was being transformed. Maybe if she changed out of her hoodie into something more glam, it would’ve made the video have more of a purpose. The second piece of feedback: WWW: I really like the hair and makeup within this video because you could see the change which added to the Mise en scene elements in this video and the lighting and make up changed which was really good. EBI: I think that within this video there could have been a costume change and a better setting to add to the Mise en scene for the video.
